TV Show Pilots: Important componants: Creating a Hook Establishing status Quo

TV Pilots:

Important Components:

A Hook to catch the audience (Make them wanting more)
A taste of what the show will be like
Something that leaves you wanting more
Scope for further story development

Compelling characters
Narrative Perspective
Who's story is this?

How will your characters be engaging and identifying.

SCRIPT STUFF:
6-15 Pages for 3-5 Episodes for a web series

Prior Research:

-  Pilots are a slice of the Show, to test the concept and how it will play out, a test strip if you will for an
    audience,

- The Pilot will set up for the show, the tone and concept, showing who the characters are and what
journey they will be on (From watching some pilots from more episodic, it doesn't seem to need to tell
the story just set the status quo that the show will take place in.

- Teaser of the pilot is meant to hook the audience and make them  wanting to know more, they are very
    short.
